Web Database or Network Database?
How NEM-Review fits in to your network
The diagram on the left shows how the components of NEM-Review can be set up on your network.
If you want an automatically updated Network Database on your local office network, that multiple users can connect to, begin
by setting up the Update Server.
For super-fast setup, you can skip the Update Server set up and connect your Analysis Client directly to our Web Database. Your
internet security systems must allow traffic over HTTP port 80 to use the Web Database - this is allowed on most networks. If you choose this
option, skip straight to setting up the Analysis Client.
Set Up the NEM-Review Update Server

Step 1. Download the NEM-Review Update Server Installer

Step 2. Install the NEM-Review Update Server
Run the install file downloaded in Step 1 and follow the screens.
On Windows Vista and Windows 7, to run the installer you must right click the file and select "Run As Administrator".

Step 3. Activate the NEM-Review Update Server
Once the installation is complete, run the NEM-Review Update Server from the icon on your desktop or start menu, or by ticking the "Launch NEM-Review Updater" box at the end of the installer in Step 2.
Follow these instructions to activate your licence.

Step 4. Configure the Database for your Update Server
Once your licence is activated, follow these instructions to download a new local database.

Step 6. Install the NEM-Review Analysis Client
Run the install file downloaded in Step 5 and follow the screens.
On Windows Vista and Windows 7, to run the installer you must right click the file and select "Run As Administrator".

Once the installation is complete, run the NEM-Review Analysis Client from the icon on your desktop or start menu, or by ticking the "Launch NEM-Review Client" box at the end of the installer in Step 7.

Step 8. Configure your Analysis Client to use the New Database
Once your new database is downloaded, follow these instructions to configure your NEM-Review Analysis Client to connect to it.
